Grief: when fully felt, can sometimes become a doorway rather than a destination
During the process of going through a breakup with my partner and feeling his absence so deeply, the grief of losing my father resurfaced.
I gave myself the time and space to feel everything that needed to be felt. I cried my eyes out.
And then something unexpected happened: there was a liberation.
A moment of rupture, where the void was no longer filled with resistance, but with acceptance.
From that place, I could move forward.
And in moving forward, the past came back—not to haunt me, but to heal.
Today, we are together again.
Happier than ever.
Hopeful about the future we are creating together. ❤️
